Collaboration through Bridges

Bridges provides Napa County individuals, couples, and families with with access to treatment, assistance and referrals through a single contact point, so that clients can get help within a matter of days.

How does Bridges work?

A request for help—by phone or in person—to any of the participating agencies results in an immediate response. The initial contact agency conducts a single comprehensive assessment that is used by all of the partners.

Support the Bridges partnership

More families, and individual clients are waiting to receive targeted services. The special benefit of collaboration and shared knowledge among participating agencies makes an investment in the Bridges program one with far reaching impact.

Bridges is a partnership of Napa County nonprofit agencies that share a common mission of serving those with multiple psychosocial needs. It is a county-wide, coordinated system of mental health care and referrals for clients. It includes linkages, screening, assessment, referral, and treatment to address the mental health needs of the entire family, including seniors.

Family Service provides counseling to referrals for our Bridges partner agencies: Community Health Clinic Olé, American Canyon Family Resource Center, Cope Family Center, Calistoga Family Center, St. Helena Family Resource Center, Parent-Child Advocacy Network, and Napa Emergency Women’s Services. As the lead agency in the collaboration, Family Service is the primary provider of outpatient counseling for uninsured and underinsured individuals, couples, and families in Napa County.
